archaeological context
remarks on archaeological context A staircase tomb contained a pottery coffin. Five pottery vessels were stored near the coffin, in the southeast corner of the burial pit (Petrie, Quibell 1896, pl. 32 (61, 62), 40(36b)). J. Quibell assumed the Egyptian pottery coffin was reused by a foreigner.

Petrie – Quibell 1896: pl. 3 (12).
