remarks on archaeological contextMastaba (200 cm × 210 cm) with a square burial pit (90 cm, 150 cm deep). At the bottom of the pit was a badly preserved skeleton embedded in organic matter (possibly remains of cloth). Over the body was inverted a circular pottery coffin. No funerary equipment was documented.
