archaeological context
remarks on archaeological contextMudbrick mastaba with a courtyard in front of the western side enclosed by a wall. On every course of the side walls, the bricks were in slightly overlapping position. At the bottom of the rectangular burial pit (98 × 71 cm, 80 cm deep, NS orientation) rested an oval pottery coffin. Two rough pots were outside the coffin.
